Product Description

A naturally rippled maple eye burl pattern wraps this smooth turquoise wood handled knife giving it a deep, exotic effect. The Seahorse Whittler comes packed with three blades: a Wharncliffe, pen, and coping blade.

The Wharncliffe blade is an excellent general purpose utility option. From handymen requiring a quick go-to on the job to the office staffer performing many "box cutter chores", the Wharncliffe blade is easily the right tool. It's broad blade is meant for fine cutting and a thin edge and point increase control.

The pen blade is similar to a spear or drop point blade but is much more compact. This small blade addresses small uses needing big detail, especially everyday light cutting such as opening envelopes and boxes.

The coping blade is similar to a sheepsfoot blade but with an angled point, similar to a coping saw without the teeth. It is used for making curved cuts or cuts into tight areas. The blade is popular with carpenters and electricians. It can be used to scratch lines in wood or other material.

This knife is constructed of Case Tru-Sharp™ stainless steel, a high-carbon steel that helps the blades hold its edge longer than conventional steel. It also imbues the blade with extraordinary durability and corrosion resistance.

Made in the USA.
A product of Bradford, Penn. using both domestic and imported materials.

  • Mirror-polished Tru-Sharp™ surgical steel blades
