The Performance Center M&P Shield Plus is extremely thin and lightweight which can be comfortably carried all day. It features the M&P's patented take-down lever and sear deactivation systems all for disassembly without pulling the trigger. It utilizes a PC tuned action, enhanced grip texture, and an optics ready slide. Its flat face trigger is for consistent trigger finger placement which allows for more accurate and repeatable shooting. Enhanced grip texture allows the user to manage recoil, keep a firm grip and delivers comfort when concealing. The Shield Plus also features an optimal 18-degree grip angle for natural point of aim and Armornite durable corrosion resistant finish. This model includes one 13-round and one 10-round magazines and a Crimson Trace 4 MOA red dot. Its barrel and slide are ported.

I want to love this gun. I really do. Feels great in my hand. Awesome shooter. I will be honest and say the Crimson Trace red dot is junk. On really sunny days it won't get bright enough. Got it gone soon after the first range day. The problem or problems I am having is #1 the roll pin for the trigger safety keeps sliding out after about 100 rounds. Goes back in with a punch no trouble but still...shouldn't happen. I also own a S&W Equalizer which will share magazines with the Shield Plus. And that leads me to problem #2. I have collected a number of magazines for these two guns. Only 5 will lock the slide back on the Plus. I can take the Plus put in the web of my hand, rock the slide back and forth with an empty mag and it will not catch. I take the slide off and insert the mag and watch when the follower reaches the slide lock it will push the follower down into the mag instead of pushing the follower up to lock the slide back. Don't tell me its a bad mag. I have 6 mags that it does this to. This doesn't happen with the Equalizer. Like I said I really want to love this gun but...
