The Ruger Redhawk 44 Rem Mag features dual chambering that also accepts factory .44 special cartridges. The rugged stainless steel construction with no side plates, is designed specifically to handle powerful magnum loads through extra metal in top strap, sidewalls and barrel mounting, while the cold hammer-forged sleeve and shroud barrel provides outstanding accuracy. Triple-locking cylinder is locked into the frame at the front, rear and bottom for more positive alignment and dependable operation shot after shot. Single-spring mechanism allows for a smooth, light trigger pull. Easy sighting with readily replaceable, insert front blade sight and adjustable rear sight with white outline. Patented transfer bar mechanism provides an unparalleled measure of security against accidental discharge.

I’ve got several Ruger revolvers. I bought this model last week and couldn’t be happier. The grip is great for my hand. I have long hands and fingers. The DA trigger is smooth, without hangups, and finishes with a nice snap. The SA is awesome. The trigger breaks very cleanly in SA. Recoil is what you would expect from a .44 Rem Mag—it will beat up the middle finger knuckle/joint on the back of the trigger guard after several rounds. The palm will also feel what you’ve been shooting at the end of the day. Overall, it’s a beautiful revolver. I’m glad I finally got one to add to my collection.
