If your Liberty Safe was built after April 2007, you can upgrade your safe with Liberty's Safe Power Outlet Kit. Those safes already installed with the previous version outlet kit (Franklins, FATBOYS, Lincolns, Presidentials and Nationals) can be retrofitted with this outlet kit.
This multi-functional outlet kit allows you to plug in electrical devices such as dehumidifiers, hard-drives, laptops, watch winders, lights, etc. The Outlet Kit includes a USB and CAT-5 ETHERNET ports, along with three 110V outlets. The Power Outlet Kit is easy to install, and can be adjusted to the various thicknesses found in Liberty's fire safes. Includes 6-foot power cord with convenient 90-degree angles for easier wall plug-in and tight spaces.
NOTE: To install, safe must be moved from the wall or closet. If there was not an outlet kit already installed, it will add 1.25" to the depth of your safe. This may require re-drilling the lag bolts in the floor if utilized. You may also contact your local Liberty dealer, who can install this new outlet kit for an additional fee.
APRIL 2014 MODELS and AFTER: Liberty's Safe Power Outlet Kit comes standard on all Franklin, Lincoln, Presidential and National Security safes built after April 2014. For Revere and Colonial safes built after April 2014, the precut hole in the fireboard has already been cut and covered by the interior fabric. Simply cut the fabric around the hole and install. See video installation instructions below for details on using the proper parts/tools for your specific safe. Some import models have received the current cutout to install the outlet kit.
Liberty Safe is deeply committed to safeguarding its customers' rights and privacy. As one of America's leading safe manufacturers, the company was founded on the belief that Americans have the fundamental right to protect their valuables and property. To assist its customers, Liberty Safe has traditionally maintained a secure database of factory-set combinations, allowing safe owners to regain access for various reasons. The company has now introduced a change that offers greater control over customer information. Existing customers can visit the Liberty Combination Removal Page to have their access codes removed from records, and this option will be extended to new customers during safe registration. While opting out means customers take on more responsibility for their combination's security, Liberty Safe respects their choice.
In addition, Liberty Safe has updated its cooperation policies with law enforcement. Access codes will only be provided in response to legally compelled subpoenas, and only if those codes are still in the company's system. Liberty Safe remains dedicated to its mission of protecting what matters most to customers, whether it's valuables or privacy, and will continue to provide excellent products for gun owners everywhere.
