MaxxTech offers the PTGB9MMB 9mm 115gr FMJ ammo, ideal for target shooting and training. With a muzzle velocity of 1150 fps and muzzle energy of 323 ft-lbs, it ensures reliable performance and accuracy. Each box contains 50 brass-cased rounds, combining affordability with quality. Perfect for both novice and seasoned shooters, this ammunition guarantees smooth feeding and consistent results, making it a smart choice for extended range sessions.
I had 2 failures to fire from the same box of 50 9mm, 115gr. That's a 4% failure rate. This was the first time I've tried Maxx Tech ammo. The failures also didn't fire on a re-try. A 2nd box had no failures, so overall failure rate was 2%. Not impressed with Maxx Tech and probably wont be buying Maxx Tech again.
I thought I would give these a try since they were on sale. After using 7 boxes from the first case, I am happy to report zero malfunctions using 3 different semi autos. I went back and got another case.
Been buying and shooting these the last few months. Thousands of rounds through different brands of pistols. Not a single issue. Can’t beat it, and the price is fantastic.
I purchased this ammo on 04/06/2024 while at the Alum Creek range. I ran 150 rounds through 2 different reputable hand guns I had a live round get jammed in the barrel the slide wouldn’t go forward or back. I had to get assistance from the Vance Staff. His conclusion of this incident was the ammo. I encourage you to spend the extra couple of dollars to get a reputable ammo as I will never purchase this ammo again.
I've shot 600 rounds through a Glock 19 and a Sig P365 with no failure to fire, failure to eject, etc. I had one round that had a damaged shell casing where its crimped to the bullet, looked like it got caught on something in the manufacturing process and it peeled it back a bit. For cheaper ammo, it doesn't seem to leave my guns any dirtier than other brand name range quality ammo. I've had good luck with it and will buy more.
Went through 8 boxes and out of every 50 rounds, there was at least 1 light primer strike. I know for a fact it's an ammo issue, because I've shot hundreds of rounds of Magtech, Federal, Hornady and CCI with a total of 0 malfunctions from any of them.
I have run through several thousand rounds of this ammo in 3 different firearms. I have not experienced a single failure. Great range ammo.
I have shot 3k rounds through many different platforms and have had no issue.
