Built with hunters in mind, the 350 Legend is the fastest straight-walled hunting cartridge available while offering more energy, less recoil and increased penetration over many of its competitors. Combining the 350 Legend on-game performance with the feature-rich Mossberg Patriot bolt-action rifle makes this duo a great choice for deer, feral hogs, black bear and other medium-size game. Deer hunting opportunities are also expanded in areas where straight-walled cartridges are now allowed in previously-restricted (slug-shotgun, handgun and muzzleloader) zones.

Patriot bolt-action rifles feature a well-designed stock with straight comb; rounded edges; raised cheek piece; and black rubber recoil pad. Constructed of durable synthetic, the stock has textured stippling on the grip and the three surface areas of the forend for a solid grip. The standard contour 22-inch carbon steel barrel is free-floating, features a 1:16 twist rate and matte blue finish. Completing these offerings are Mossberg’s LBA user-adjustable trigger (2 to 7-pound range of adjustment); spiral-fluted bolt;streamlined and checkered bolt handle; receiver-mounted, weaver-style scope bases;sling swivel studs; and 4-round box magazine.

With decreased muzzle blast and extremely low recoil, the Mossberg Patriot Synthetic chambered in 350 Legend makes for a more enjoyable experience in the field without sacrificing performance.

First of all, I'd like to thank Vance Outdoors for having this rifle in stock and shipping it in a timely manner. I placed my order near Christmas and had the gun in my hands in 6 days from the date of purchase.

The Mossberg Patriot is a value price rifle that shoots great and with an excellent trigger. I had the 350 Legend dialed in and was hitting bullseyes at 50 yards in only 4 shots with Winchester XP 150 grain ammo. The rifle has a smooth bolt and great features such as a detachable 4 + 1 magazine. I would highly recommend this gun and caliber for anyone wanting a great deer rifle for hunting conditions under 200 yards. The rifle is very accurate and recoil was very minimal in the 350 Legend.
