I purchased the Sinister 430 crossbow and shot it once at the store. It was busy, and I felt rushed, so I bought it. When I got home, I set up my target, cocked the crossbow using the silent cock mechanism, and the string cracked the plastic crank! That’s when I realized there’s no way to manually cock it due to the lack of a foot stirrup. Also, you can't use the cocking mechanism with a sling attached—you have to remove the rear of the sling every time you cock it. HORRIBLE design. Save your time and money, and get something else.
