Upon its initial debut in the 1950s, the AR-pattern blueprint showcased a distinctively innovative carry handle integrated into the upper receiver. The SA-16A2 incorporates an M16-pattern bolt carrier group, comprising a Carpenter 158 steel bolt and a gas key firmly secured for increased durability and efficiency.
